Within the CERES ecosystem, a CERES Coin is a transactional vehicle. Within the CERES ecosystem, enthusiasts will be able to use the CERES Coin to purchase cannabis products, producers/sellers will be able to purchase equipment and supplies, and investors will be able to fund new capital to business owners. CERES Coins are backed by the USD and are not used as investment vehicles. CERES Tokens get some of their value from fees generated from CERES Coin purchases within the CERES ecosystem.

The CERES Token is part of the dual asset token structure. As the velocity of the CERES Coin increases (as more people use the CERES Coin in the ecosystem), the value of CERES Tokens increases as well. The velocity between Coins and Tokens is positively correlated.
